Eastern markets bolster up polish furniture export

After the first half of 2013 furniture export to extra-European countries increased by 17%. Forecasts show, that to the end of this year it can exceed 1 billion euro.

It should be noted, that it is still not more than 15% of the full polish furniture export. Although data indicates that export to extra-European countries doesn’t exceed 15%, it furniture selling to those markets allows to increase in export of polish furniture industry.

Unfortunately, probably export to Russia won’t keep such a high dynamic which occurred in the last two years. Then it was 40% of growth year by year. The dynamic won’t be  keep, because after the first quarter of 2013 a growth rate of this dynamic is only 1,09. At the same time the export in Belarus increased for about 30%, and in Ukraine for about 20% – after the first quarter of 2013.

At the same time, the result of cooperation with EU countries was only plus 1%. The export to Germany increases for plus 1,5% and to Great Britain for plus 12%. There is also noted a decrease to France: minus 11% and to Czech Republic: minus 15%.
